IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE READ

ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE FOR CAMPERS

If you're staying with us this summer, please be aware that road closures will be in place between Cedars Roundabout and Fremington Quay from 15th June to 23rd August due to major gas works.

Don't worry, access to the campsite remains available and signed diversions will be in place.

When travelling to Tarka Trail Camping, please follow the diversion route via the A39 and B3233, following signs for East-the-Water, Instow and Yelland.

We'd recommend allowing a little extra time for your journey, particularly during busy arrival periods.

If you have any questions before travelling, please get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

On Saturday 28th March we’ll be opening the gates for the 2026 season, and we can’t wait to welcome our campers back to Tarka Trail Camping.

In three short weeks we’ll be welcoming our lovely campers back for the 2026 season - and we can’t wait.

Longer days, fresh air, trail walks, bike rides and those peaceful evenings by the estuary are almost here again. We’re ready to open the gates from Saturday 28 March.
