✨ Thank you to John for this brilliant 10/10 review - “The cleanest site I have stayed on in over 20 years of camping” is quite a compliment! 💚

We know that clean, well-kept showers and toilets can make all the difference when you’re camping, so we put a lot of care into keeping ours spotless, fresh and genuinely nice to use every day. It’s something we’re really proud of.

And it sounds like the handmade pizza from the brewery next door went down rather well too. 🍕🍺

It only feels like five minutes since we opened the gates for the 2026 season, and now we’ve only got a few weeks left.

It’s a lovely way to explore both sides of the water. Walk or cycle from the campsite to Instow, hop on the ferry and spend a few hours discovering Appledore during your stay.

Don’t you just love camping in September? 🍂

The school holidays may be over, but there’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy. Days on the beach, bike rides along the Tarka Trail, coastal walks, pub lunches in Instow and evenings relaxing back at your pitch.

🍦We love ice cream at Tarka Trail Camping - especially when it’s made locally.

We stock Farmer Tom's dairy ice cream, produced in Holsworthy, ready for an afternoon treat, something sweet after a day exploring, or simply because you’re on holiday and ice cream is practically compulsory. 😋

If you’re thinking about squeezing in a North Devon camping trip before summer is over, August availability is now very limited. We still have good availability for September, when things are a little quieter and it’s a lovely time to explore the Tarka Trail and North Devon.
