A little message from us at The Burlands about booking direct. ❤️

We've invested a huge amount of time, money and effort into our website and social media, making it easier than ever for you to find us, explore our accommodation and book your stay directly.

But here's the thing. We need you, our guests, to make that change too.

Booking platforms like Airbnb are brilliant for discovering places to stay, and we're grateful for the guests who have found us through them. However, these platforms also charge fees and commissions, which can have a significant impact on small, independent businesses like ours.

When you book directly with The Burlands, you're dealing with us personally, not a third-party booking platform.

There’s more to The Burlands than a lovely place to stay.

Did you know we have two lakes on the estate, ready for you to explore during your break?

Take your morning coffee down to the water. Find a quiet spot with a book. Enjoy a little fishing or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

No tickets to book. No packed itinerary. Just time to wander and see where you end up. We have local pub and restaurant The Jack Russell and Venn Valley Vineyard and Winery where you can book w**e tasting and tours. Both just a short drive from us or both walkable if you prefer (approx 30 mins downhill maybe a little longer on the walk home 🤭) Do as much or as little as you like.

Two-night weekend breaks in Burlodge are now available.

We know three nights away isn’t always possible. There’s childcare to arrange, work on Monday and everything else that needs to fit around a weekend away.

So we’re trying something new in Burlodge. We previously had a 3 night minimum but you can now book for just two nights at the weekend.

Check in from 3pm on Friday, settle in and enjoy time together, with late checkout on Sunday to make the most of your stay.

Sleeps four · Two bedrooms · Private hot tub
