Casual / Zero Guaranteed Hours | Primarily Weekend Work
Are you friendly, enthusiastic and love being part of a busy event? Are you over 16 and not in school and looking for some hours around college or another job?
The Hotel Imperial is looking for casual event staff to join our team!
We have a busy programme of events throughout the year, including parties, live entertainment, themed nights, bottomless brunches, Christmas parties, private functions and celebrations — and we're looking for enthusiastic people to help us deliver fantastic experiences for our guests.
What will you be doing?
Depending on the event, your role may include:
🍹 Serving customers at the bar
🍽️ Serving food and assisting with functions
🎟️ Welcoming guests and checking tickets
🪩 Helping set up and clear down events
🥂 Table service
🎉 Supporting the event team throughout the evening
🧹 Keeping the venue clean, tidy and presentable
😊 Providing friendly and professional customer service
No two events are necessarily the same, so we're looking for people who are flexible, reliable and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

Previous hospitality or bar experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided for the right people.
The hours
This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.
Work will be offered according to our event schedule and your availability, with the majority of shifts expected to be Friday and Saturday evenings, along with occasional daytime/weekend events.
This role would suit someone looking for flexible additional work alongside another job, studies, family commitments or other responsibilities.
