**NEW JANE AUSTEN WORSHOP ** Join Rita Lazaro Art - creativity and colour in layers of paint and fellow artist Sasha Porter, who has wonderful experience in botanical casting, to bring plaster portraits of Jane Austen to life in a completely new way. You can still buy a ready-made portrait, but this workshop gives you the chance to customise Jane yourself, pressing flowers, foliage and textures into clay to create a plaster relief that is entirely individual to you. Join artists Sasha Porter and Rita Lazaro for a hands-on workshop during the Jane Austen Festival in Bath, creating your own completely individual Austen portrait inspired by Georgian cameos. Press Jane’s silhouette, flowers, foliage and delicate textures into clay, then see your composition transformed into a plaster relief to take home, a rather more personal souvenir of Bath than a fridge magnet.
