The bay of Beadnell 🧡 looking glorious in the golden sunset rays

One of the few west-facing bays on Northumberland’s coast, Beadnell is perfectly positioned to catch the evening light, making it one of the county’s best sunset spots.

The sweeping horseshoe-shaped beach stretches for around two miles and sits within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

On evenings like this, it’s easy to see why it’s a favourite with walkers, photographers and anyone looking to slow down for a while.

Just a gentle walk from Nanny End cottage along our beautiful sandy beaches takes you to Bamburgh, recently voted 3rd best beach in the WORLD! It’s not hard to see why. Our top tip is to book a sunset cruise with Billy Shiel Farne Islands Boats to see Bamburgh Castle at its most magical and if you are lucky the dolphins may even join you!
