Isn’t this little cottage just the sweetest?

It's a beautiful gift set from Bramley and is filled with some gorgeous hand wash and creams. The moment I saw it, I instantly thought of Blackbird Cottage, so I couldn’t resist buying it as a little treat for one of our lovely returning guests.

Whether it’s your second visit or your tenth, I'm always delighted to welcome you back and make you feel right at home. Thank you for choosing us again and again! 💕

Swap tricks for treats, escape to Dorset for a cosy Halloween weekend.

Think misty mornings, nights in front of the wood burner and the quiet charm of a cottage made for autumn.

Light the fire, pour something comforting, and let the world slow down for a few days.
And if you’re bringing little ones, Mapperton’s Halloween Trail is just around the corner, a magical wander through gardens, pumpkins, and gentle spooky fun they’ll love.

Autumn & Winter stays at Blackbird Cottage

An empty beach on the Jurassic Coast. Your dog charging through the waves. A sunset walk home through the golden lanes.
An evening drink in a local pub. Then the key in the door. The log burner lit. The cosy blankets. A long evening with nothing pressing until morning.
This is the stay that our regulars keep quietly to themselves.
