A little gin, a little tonic, and a story worth sharing on International Gin and Tonic Day.

One of our favourite things about being here?

Having some of the Highlands' most beautiful places right on our doorstep. As autumn arrives, Glen Affric is looking particularly spectacular.

If you haven't visited for a while, here are three reasons to make the trip:

The autumn colours
The woodland comes alive with rich reds, golds and russets, making this one of the most beautiful times of year to visit.

The walking
From gentle woodland strolls to longer Highland walks, there are plenty of ways to get out and enjoy the scenery.

Lochs, mountains, ancient woodland and wide-open Highland landscapes. It's the kind of place that makes you stop, take a breath and simply look around.

Christmas has a sneaky habit of arriving before we are quite ready for it. One minute you're enjoying the last of the summer and the next someone is asking, “What are we doing for Christmas this year?” 😳
