It’s almost two weeks since our party with James Lavelle and we’re still thinking about it 🎶 Huge thanks to everyone who came down and made the (open air) atmosphere so friendly and buzzing – the Yard at its best! James loved the vibe and the crowd, and had a blast at Never Never on the Sunday too.

This event was all about collaboration with people who really care about what they do – so a huge thank you to Gareth and Richie for their warm-up set and the wicked t-shirts they produced (v limited supplies still available from the shop).

And a special word of praise to the main man , whose recent connection with James made the event happen. We have long respected Noel’s integrity and influence on underground music culture, and that respect increased even more working so closely together. Chillest person in the room, and what a DJ as well ☺️

You can read a little more on Noel’s influence, and James’ iconic (we said it) status in a zine that we created especially for the weekend. Thanks to Ken, Chris, Marty, and everyone who contributed – copies are almost gone but check in with Never Never and Bullitt reception, or JC himself. Hope you dig, and thank you for your continued support for the music at Bullitt – lots to come over summer. How can you have a day without a night?

Our Yard parties continue in June as we invite NiceTuna and their crate-digging friends to take over proceedings on Fri 12th.

NiceTuna is an online platform that puts the music first: showcasing deep digs and esoteric sounds in house music and beyond. We love their passion and that these young guys are searching across the years for lesser-known sounds - nice to be individual!

For the Bullitt night, main man Cooke teams up with Head Above Water’s ByPhil, and Interpreter.

In their words: ‘Expect three DJs with bags full of tasteful records and plenty of ear-pleasing sounds from start to finish.’

We’re in! Free entry as always from 8.30pm to late.

Amazing night with James Lavelle, Noel Watson and Never Never on Sat – more pics and thoughts to come 🎧 But quickly fast-forwarding to Fri 5th June, we are very happy to welcome Chris Airplays and our good friend Daniel Young to the Yard.

Chris is currently a resident and hosts the open decks night at All My Friends in London, has a show on Netil Radio, and has supported Bullitt favourites like Mafalda, Alexander Nut, and Emma-Jean Thackray. Check his Everybody Loves to Boogie mix, it’s super.

Daniel is no stranger to the Bullitt decks and we’re loving his brilliant new platform Éist Anseo which puts out playlists and mixes spanning all genres, moods, and styles – from DJs and non-DJs alike.

Sunshine music, outdoors, from 8.30pm to late – free entry as always!
