🥹⛺ IT’S OUR LAST EVENING AT FORELANDS… ⛺🥹
And there have already been tears today as people have packed up and headed home… 😭❤️
It’s hard to put into words just how special this little campsite has become.
But tonight, more than anything, our thoughts are with the wonderful lady who made all of this possible…
Our lovely Sally ❤️
Three years ago, Sally gave us the chance to start Forelands Pop-Up Campsite.
At the time, none of us could have known quite what it would become.
But Sally loved it. ❤️
She used to come down in the evenings and sit watching the campsite. She’d see the field full of tents and campervans, children playing, dogs running around, people laughing, eating, drinking and making memories together.
And she would just sit there, taking it all in and enjoying seeing everyone so happy. 🥹
We miss her more than words can ever say.
There have been so many moments this season when we’ve looked across a busy campsite and thought, “Sally would have absolutely loved this.”
We wish more than anything that she could be sitting down here with us tonight.
We wish she could see how much Forelands has grown.
We wish she could see the friendships that have been made here, hear the laughter coming across the field and see all the familiar faces that keep coming back.
And we wish she could know just how many people now hold this little place so close to their hearts. ❤️
Because although Sally is sadly no longer here with us, she is still such a huge part of Forelands.
She always will be.
Every time those gates open and another family arrives…
Every evening when the campsite is full of laughter…
Every friendship made around a campfire…
Every child running around that field having the time of their life…
There’s a little bit of Sally in all of it. ❤️
She gave us the opportunity to create Forelands, but what she really gave us was the chance to create something that has brought hundreds of people together.
A little community.
A family.
A place where people arrive as campers and somehow leave as friends. 🥹❤️
That will always be part of Sally’s legacy.
And we hope, wherever she may be, she knows that we’re looking after her little field and that it’s still filled with exactly what she loved seeing most…
Happy people making memories. ❤️
This year has genuinely been our BEST season yet.
We’ve welcomed so many amazing people through those gates. People who arrived as campers and left as friends… and some who have become friends for life.
We’ve laughed until our sides hurt, danced, partied, eaten far too much Vivid food 😂, survived the Isle of Wight weather 🤣 and watched this little campsite turn into one enormous Forelands family.
Tomorrow, we’ll watch the last campers leave and then we’ll close those gates on the 2026 season.
And yes… there are going to be tears. Lots of them. 😭
But tonight isn’t goodbye just yet…
We’ve still got one last evening together, and Vivid are here for one final time tonight! 🍔❤️
So let’s enjoy every last minute of it.
To every single person who has camped with us, visited us, recommended us, shared our posts, supported our events, eaten with us, danced with us or simply stopped by to say hello…
THANK YOU.
You are what makes Forelands what it is. ❤️
And Sally…
Thank you for trusting us.
Thank you for giving us that first chance three years ago.
Thank you for giving us a place that has brought so many wonderful people into our lives.
We only wish you were here tonight to see it.
Forelands simply wouldn’t exist without you, and we promise you’ll never be forgotten. ❤️
Tomorrow we close the gates…
But don’t worry — FORELANDS WILL BE BACK IN 2027! 🎉⛺
Tonight, we’ll raise a glass to another incredible season…
and most importantly, we’ll raise one to Sally. 🥂❤️
One last night, Forelands family.
Let’s make it one she’d be proud of. ❤️
