Some fun things to do on the Isle when it's raining ☔️

Isle of Wight Pottery - we absolutely love it here, based on Freshwater - the girls that run it are truly wonderful. Both adults and children can try their hand on the potters wheel and clay modelling. School holidays are usually around £30 for 2 hours - best to book in advance.

Goose Island Studio - Pottery painting - so therapeutic, a great space where you pay per person for your paint and then per item you would like to paint. Prices start from around £10 per item so with your paint it's around £15 for 2 hours - our pottery is now ready and we can't wait to see it when Paws & Shores Isle of Wight pick it up for us at the end of the month.

Sandown Pier - You can spend many an hour in here, arcades, soft play, bowling, crazy golf, cafe, bar, fair rides at the end of the pier too.

Robin Hill now has an indoor soft play, we love wondering round here in the summer months but if you have kids that need to let of steam - this could be a great place to go. The prices range from £2.50 to £8 per child for soft play.

Amazon World Zoo Park is mostly indoor and also has a great soft play area. This a great place to spend a few hours. Quite pricey though at £72 per family of 4.

Bembridge RNLI - look out for their kids activities and lifeboat launches, a beautiful location and just round the corner from the caravan

Snacks and Ladders Board Game Café - this is perfect for killing a few hours with lots of variety. So many board games and you can grab some food & drink whilst there. £2 per person per hour if buying food and drink or £3.50 per person if just playing games. They have pokemon nights & other themes so be sure to check them out.

Tapnell Farm Park this is great no matter what the weather, there is lots to do indoor & outdoor here. It's around £20 each

Little Joy - a beautiful jewellery making studio for both adults and kids and around £40 each - you can make some beautiful pieces

Any parents with SEN children or adults you can get a free carers ticket to most attractions with your nimbus access card
