Another new chapter, same sea 🌊

Last year I wrote “New chapter, same sea” as we made Beachside our home, as after years of welcoming holiday guests through these doors, it became our turn to wake up to this view, walk beside the sea, watch the light change across the water and experience everyday life here in Bexhill.

And now, another chapter is beginning.

Beachside is looking for a new owner and It feels bittersweet to write that sentence actually, as this place by the sea has been a holiday escape, a home, the inspiration behind my obsession with taking countless photographs of beautiful Bexhill and starting this page. But it’s now the right time in our lives to move on and let somewhere you’ve loved become part of somebody else’s story.

For now, I’ll keep sharing the sea, the sunsets, the walks and the quiet corners of Bexhill that made us fall in love with living here in the first place.

And somewhere out there, perhaps Beachside’s next person is waiting to find it.

New chapter. Same sea. New story waiting to begin. 🌊

If you’ve ever imagined calling Bexhill-on-Sea home, head to Rush Witt Wilson, Bexhill to discover more.

New chapter, same sea 🌊

This IG and Facebook account began life as sharing our beautiful holiday home a few years ago, and has been loved by so many guests over the years.

It’s no longer a holiday home and we have recently moved here, so it feels right to keep sharing the sea-facing stories of this beautiful place, just a bit differently.

Welcome to Beachside:

“We fully intended to explore Eastbourne, Hastings and St Leonards but quite frankly the view from the apartment was simply too nice! 🌅 Sunrise: look left, sunset: look right, basically everything you need is right here. Just look through the window and breathe. This place is utterly beautiful inside and out - appreciated all the the mid century furniture and touches and we loved our 3 night stay celebrating my birthday….simply don’t want to leave.” 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
