🍓Happy National Cream Tea Day!☕One thing that is definitely on the must-do list when visiting Devon? Enjoying a delicious Devon cream tea... and yes, it's cream first, then jam! 😉

One of our favourite local spots is the tea room at Fursdon House. Open on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, it's the perfect place to stop for a homemade cream tea after exploring the beautiful house and grounds - and they also have some amazing floral displays!

Our ideal afternoon? A walk up to Cadbury Castle to soak up the stunning Devon views, followed by a well-earned cream tea on the way home. Best of all, it's all within 15 minutes of Valleyside Escapes.

Now for the important question...

🐞It's National Insect Week!🦋Did you know we have a FREE nature trail for our younger guests?

Children can explore the glamping site and surrounding countryside while searching for dragonflies, butterflies, grasshoppers and lots of other wildlife along the way.

It's a great way to slow down, get outdoors and discover the nature that makes Devon so special.

This weekend we're welcoming a group of Dads and their children for a glamping adventure in the beautiful Exe Valley.👨‍👧‍👦

🐏New residents have arrived at Valleyside Escapes!🐏Three ewes and five lambs have moved into our lower paddock. The ewes are returning guests, but this time they've brought five new additions with them!

They're Black-Nosed Valais sheep and are incredibly friendly – often described as the world's cutest sheep! One of the highlights of a stay at Valleyside Escapes is meeting this friendly flock.

They know exactly when it's feeding time and come running to greet us.🥰

Can you guess any of the lambs names they all begin with the letter N?! 🐑
