Bulworthy Forest Lodges is tucked away down a picturesque tree-lined drive at the entrance to Bulworthy Forest in heavenly North Devon. Nestling in 25 acres of woodland teeming with flora and fauna, and boasting five well-stocked fishing lakes, this is the consummate setting for escaping to the country and losing yourself in perfect peace and good old-fashioned family fun. These excellent lodges truly make the most of the beautiful surroundings with spectacular lake views and hot tubs offering the ultimate way to unwind under the woodland canopy or marvel at the starry sky. The lakes offer free coarse and carp fishing, while woodland trails invite gentle rambles amongst an abundance of wildlife and wonderful bird-watching. Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and a sandy beach are all within just 5 miles, there is a pub and shops a short drive away. Please note: Due to steep gradients Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.

We’re excited to share a change to how you’ll be able to book your stay at Bulworthy Forest from 2027.
From 2027, we will no longer be taking new bookings through Hoseasons.
Instead, you’ll be able to book your stay either with us through:
https://www.holidaylodges.co.uk/bulworthy-forest-lodges
This change gives us the opportunity to offer our guests a more direct and personal booking experience, while continuing to provide the same beautiful woodland setting, comfortable lodges and peaceful escape you know and love.
✨ If you already have a booking through Hoseasons, don’t worry.
Your existing booking remains in place and there is nothing you need to do.
For future stays from 2027 onwards, simply visit:

Join the Northam Burrows rangers for a summer of fun!

We've got family friendly events every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon throughout the school holidays. Activities run from 2pm to 4pm and children must be accompanied by an adult.

There will also be a fantastical fairy trail - the magical creatures of Northam Burrows are heading to the coast for their summer holidays... can you spot all of their camp sites and holiday homes?! Pick up a free map from the visitor centre, and see what you can discover (from Thurs 23rd July to Sun 6th September).
