We are growing!

Due to getting rather a little busy, which is amazing- we are expanding.
Thank you to all who have helped make this happen, we are now looking for a server/ general lovely all rounder to help us serve breakfasts in the morning and, in quieter periods, get ready for restaurant service at lunch/ dinner and set up for events.

This is a hugely varied role, hospitality
experience a desirable but good customer service is also great.

It requires someone with a can do attitude, a degree of flexibility mid week and a friendly and professional welcome to all our guests.
Shift varies but would typically be 7.30am-12.30.

This is not a seasonal job and so would not suit students or those not available mid week.

We are based in the countryside and so access to private transport is a must.

👀 Whether you’re looking to host an intimate wedding with us, or an evening of private dining, our expert team of event planners have some helpful tips to consider when decorating your space…

🌸 FUNCTIONALITY

Above all else, the best decorated room is a room that *actually* works. Think about the amount of guests you have, the physical space of the room, and any walkways that servers may need. Our orangery is the perfect setting for intimate events- it’s small enough to feel full for quieter events, but the expansive countryside views really open the space! This is why we recommend it for intimate events.

🌷THE M RULE

When decorating a small space, think either minimalist or maximalist. If you have the budget, going all-out with flowers is a great way to create BIG impact.
In smaller spaces, you can create the feeling of abundance by carefully styling and clustering flowers. Alternatively, if your budget is smaller, elegant touches are the way forward. Rather than falling somewhere in between, and risking the space looking unfinished, it’s best to make an aesthetic decision and commit to it!

🌺 COHESION

For a truly impressive event, think of how the tablescapes and decorations match your menu and wider theme. We have seen some truly spectacular designs by who manages to combine timeless beauty with personalised twists. A particular favourite was a Sicilian themed wedding that included whole lemons across the table and dried lemon slices in the flowers. If you’re going for a menu with spring and summer flavours, experiment with bright colours. If your menu is cosier, moodier colours may be better, and different candle heights can create a really atmospheric ambience.
