We are massive dog lovers and meet some beauty's who choose to visit Haystacks.

We get asked ‘which hut should we book?’ a lot

So we made a guide…

🛖 The Morrell Bothy: the grandest option with the biggest outdoor space and a TV for guilt-free duvet days when the weather turns. The one for people who want to live outside as much as in.

🛖 Samuel: backs onto private woodland with river views right on the doorstep. The one for people who want to feel properly tucked away.

🛖 The Moorhouse Bothy: plenty of space with full height windows and its own fire pit and BBQ. The one for those who book a weekend away and secretly hope it rains.

🛖 Martha: sun-facing with an outdoor bath that catches the afternoon light perfectly. The one for people who want to make the most of every hour of daylight.

We get a lot of returning guests at Haystacks🤍

Couples who came for a first anniversary and came back for the fifth. People who found something here they couldn't quite get anywhere else and decided not to bother looking for it somewhere else. Guests who message us on the way home to ask about availability for next year.

Milestone stays, anniversary weekends, birthdays, just-because trips. We're here for all of them.

These gorgeous pictures are from a late June stay, courtesy of some wonderful guests Lay. This was a first visit, and our favourite part of their lovely review was that they will definitely be back. We can’t wait to see them again 🫶🏻
