Labour promised 300,000 homes a year. 1.5 million over this Parliament.

Official MHCLG figures show just 208,600 net additional homes in England in 2024/25 — down 6% on 221,410 the year before under the Tories.

OBR now forecasts 1.14m homes this Parliament vs 1.89m built under the Conservatives 2019-2024.

Angela Rayner said she would fix the housing crisis. On these numbers, is she on track to deliver FEWER homes than the Tories during Covid?
