Tigh-air-na-Creagan is a 4 bedroom self catering home set in the village of Boat of Garten, 5 miles from Aviemore. It is situated towards the end of Kinchurdy road, a peaceful road bordering an area of protected Caledonian Foerest. The house has been newly renovated in 2014 and offers a fantastic home for your stay in the Cairngorm National Park. From this picturesque woodland setting there are plentiful walking and cycling trails accessible from the front door. A 5 minute stroll takes you to the heart of the village complete with post office, convenience store, Anderson's restaurant and The Boat Hotel, which also has dining facilities. A particular highlight of the area is the Strathspey Steam Railway which runs regularly from the village of Boat of Garten to Aviemore. A detached bungalow in its own grounds with front door access via steps, however a driveway allows access to the rear entrance with easier access via only 3 steps, from here all rooms are on one level. There is an open plan living/dining area, modern kitchen with utility and 4 bedrooms (superking, king, and 2 bedrooms each with single and guest bed). Bathroom and separate shower room both with toilet. Central heating is by an oil fired combi-boiler providing on demand hot water. There is also a wood burning stove in the living room. Freesat TV, WiFi, Wii Console, Board Games, local trail maps available throughout your stay.
