Complete with kitchen, shower room and sitting room Shack at Back is a comfortable size for a single person, couple or couple with small child. Sharing our Highland retreat. After taking on our own house renovation in 2015, Shack at Back became our home for a few months. We soon realised that it was a cosy and comfy wee house in a lovely part of the Highlands too nice not to be shared. So, we are taking the plunge and renting our Shack so other people can experience and enjoy in this wonderful location.

A Taste of the Cairngorms! 🍄

Making the most of what our beautiful local landscape has to offer! Our freshly foraged chanterelle mushrooms, gathered locally around Grantown-on-Spey by Chris and Steve, are the star of our rich, classic Forestière sauce. 🤎

Paired with our succulent free-range chicken breast and our indulgent smoked haggis dauphinoise potatoes, it’s a proper taste of the Highlands, bringing together local woodland flavours and Scottish favourites on one plate.

Local ingredients, seasonal flavours, and a little bit of the Highlands in every bite! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
