Today is International Clean Air for blue skies Day.

Did you know trees are nature's ultimate air purifiers? 🌳

They clean the air by absorbing toxic gases like carbon dioxide and nitrogen dioxide through their leaves, while simultaneously releasing fresh oxygen. Their leaves, bark, and branches also act as physical filters that trap airborne dust, ash, and smoke until rain safely washes them away. By providing shade and cooling the environment, trees even slow down the chemical reactions that form urban smog.

Let's protect our green spaces! 🌍💚

We have had a great summer with sold out bookings throughout- highlights have been hearing the joy from our guests when they have spotted visiting wildlife, and them wild swimming and paddle boarding in the lake or doing some yoga at sunrise. Here’s a photo of our resident kingfisher that a guest shared with us. Thank you Nicola! X

What a stunning day! Our beautiful Goose Nest is all ready to welcome new guests- where better to stay than by the lake in the cool woods on a day like this? All you can hear is the gentle rustling of the wind through the trees and the tinkling of our stream and the occasional carp rising- absolutely heavenly ♥️
