First time cooking a massive Seafood Paella for 15 guests over the open firepit. 🔥🥘 I was so nervous, but the empty pan speaks for itself!

And the best part of the day? Seeing grandad and grandson burning off that paella energy on the lawn right after the meal! ⚽️🏃‍♂️ This is what rainy weekends here are all about—good food, full bellies, and sweet family moments. ❤️

This morning, as our guests checked out, the children made sure to visit every animal one last time.

Goodbye goats.
Goodbye guinea pigs.
Goodbye deer.
See you next year.
Simple.
Connected.

Collecting eggs in the morning — each one a different colour — never stops feeling magical.

In summer, it becomes even more special: picking vegetables,🥗foraging mushrooms,🍄‍🟫feeding the little piggies 🐖 and watching the deer wander down the hill.🦌🦌🦌

It’s not just a holiday — it’s a gentle return to simple living.
Maybe that’s why today’s guests were already rebooking before they even left.
