A last “Hurrah!” Scumrun Style!
September 27th – October 1st 2024 | Nürburgring & Amsterdam
Attention all thrill-seekers, car lovers and adventure enthusiasts! Have you been dreaming of hitting the world famous Nürburgring track, partying in Amsterdam, and conquering some legendary roads? Well, now's your chance!
We're offering a special opportunity for the ultimate adrenaline-fuelled trip joining the Scumrun Event Team this September. This is a last “Hurrah” so no registration fee is required for this jolly. We do ask that anyone joining us raises as much as you can for the nominated charity as is tradition for Scumrun events. This year – it’s Winston’s Wish.
We hope you’ll join us and can’t wait to see friends old and new for a weekend of great fun and great driving.
What’s in store?
All details for the trip including overnight stops where the Event Team will be staying will be shared with those joining the trip. You can then book your own ferry and accommodation and join us for some track action and enjoy a wild night out in Amsterdam, whilst embarking on a journey through some of the most epic roads with the usual Scumrun style antics.
A summary of the trip itinerary is as below. For teams wishing to join please email us directly at [email protected] for a detailed itinerary which will allow you to book accommodation and crossings to match the Event Team. The Event Team will not be camping (as much as it hurts to admit it, we’ve realised we’re getting a wee bit too old and enjoy our creature comforts these days!) so accommodation has been selected to be close to both track and city centres allowing for overnight parking and budgets.

Important Info
Nürburgring is a public road and therefore vehicles are examined prior to gaining entry. With this in mind, you are welcome to bring any type of car, with no restriction on size, value, etc. Safety, is as always, paramount, so please consider this if you intend to bring a ‘banger’ or a car you’ve used for a previous Scumrun event.
For teams wishing to join us, please note that delays can be experienced at Nürburgring due to busy periods and accidents - which sometimes inevitably happen on the course. We have therefore allocated two days to make sure everyone has an opportunity to experience the track.
If you’d rather just join for the trip and evening antics then you can book a ‘ring taxi’ rather than risk your own car on the track. This is by far the best way to experience Nürburgring and undoubtedly the safest! We will share details with any teams who are joining, and advanced booking is highly recommended.
We encourage you to have a heap of fun, rev up and race, but remember: the Nürburgring may be 'public road' but it also operates as a commercial business. If you damage the track when driving on it, there may be repair costs passed on to you.
We will be staying at the Hotel situated trackside which has a legendary bar for us to enjoy and serves great food as a starting point.
