🫘😳 We may have a bean problem… 😳🫘

If anyone was wondering what keeps a hospitality business awake at night, it’s apparently baked beans.

With the season in full swing and our cooked breakfasts flying out of the kitchen, we’ve had to make a strategic investment in the nation’s favourite breakfast side.

Let’s just say the bean reserve is looking healthy. 😅

Hospitality margins have always been tight, but these days they’re feeling more paper-thin than ever. So when we spot a good deal on something we know we’ll use, we tend to stock up!

The good news? There’ll be no bean shortages at The Riverside anytime soon.

🦆 Well… the winning duck came through for The Riverside 🎉

After all the excitement of Sunday’s duck race, it turns out the winning duck made its way right to the finish line in first place us… and we’re claiming that as a Riverside victory too 😄

A huge well done to everyone involved in organising another brilliant Boscastle event, and to everybody who took part, sponsored ducks, watched from the bridges, or just came along for the atmosphere.

Days like this are what community life in Boscastle is all about 🌊
