Things are looking very NICI down here on the Cornish coast.

The bedrooms are dressed, Amalfi’s is almost ready to welcome its first guests, and our treatment rooms are waiting for their first post-beach unwind.

Expect Amalfi-inspired interiors, Cornish sea views and a whole lot of NICI charm from day one.

And there’s more to come. Later this summer, our spa facilities will expand to include a pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room.

So, what’s the deal with the pineapples? 🍍

Long before they became poolside cocktail garnishes, pineapples were one of the rarest luxuries in the world, a symbol of hospitality, warmth and welcome.

Back in the 17th century, hosts would display pineapples at gatherings to show generosity and make guests feel truly looked after. Over time, the fruit became a lasting emblem of hotels, travel and escapism.

So naturally, at THE NICI Bournemouth, the pineapple became our symbol. A little nod to sunshine, good energy, and making people feel right at home from the moment they check in.
