We’ve had a wonderful four-night stay at Walltree House — it really has been the perfect place for our family getaway. The house is beautifully presented, extremely spacious, and ideal for a large family or group. The layout works brilliantly, with plenty of areas to relax and spend time together — including a cosy bar and snug, a large dining room, a welcoming breakfast room, and a conservatory overlooking the gardens. The kitchen is exceptionally well appointed and had everything we needed and more.

The setting is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by lovely gardens and countryside. We enjoyed some fantastic long walks right from the door — one leading to the Crewe Arms in Hinton-in-the-Hedges (about 50 minutes) and another in the opposite direction to the Rose and Crown in Charlton, also around 50 minutes away. The food at the Rose and Crown was absolutely outstanding and well worth the walk!

There’s also a great choice of other attractions and villages within easy driving distance, making Walltree House a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding area.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend Walltree House to anyone looking for a relaxing country break.
