It's all greening up again! 🌿

It’s lovely to see our cottages courtyard finally greening up after a heatwave. Grass is growing and leaves are filling out again 💚

We have some good availability for autumn stays from Mon 21st Sept into October and Half Term; the perfect time to escape. Think country walks, hot chocolates, a great book to read

A little bit of racing life on our doorstep…

Last weekend we popped over to our neighbour Neil Mulholland’s racing yard as part of National Racing Week

We headed out onto the gallops and watched the horses being put through their paces, both on the flat and over the jumps. Afterwards, we had the chance to wander around the yard, meet some of the horses and chat to the team.

It was such a lovely morning and great to get a little glimpse into the world of racehorse training

One of the things we love about Church Farm is being surrounded by so much countryside and farm life.

If you're staying with us, there’s a public footpath which crosses the horses’ track, so keep your eyes peeled — you might spot them training!

They’re usually out early though… so set that alarm! ⏰😉

👋 Meet Emma!

If there’s a job that needs doing at Church Farm, chances are Emma can do it! 💪

From admin and housekeeping to gardening and looking after the pool, she really can turn her hand to just about anything.

Emma has been part of the Church Farm team for 6 years, joining us during Covid. Her main role is now leading our changeover days — making sure the housekeeping team is organised, the cottages are looking their best and everything is ready to welcome our next guests. 🏡✨

She is one of those people we genuinely couldn’t manage without!

Emma’s favourite part about working at Church Farm?
Friendly people (Church Farm team and guests), everyday is varied and I can cycle to work and occasionally herd some help

🌿 The school holidays are (almost) over… now it’s your turn!

The kids are back, the school run begins again and routines are slowly getting back to normal.

But September on the farm is something rather special. 💛

Quieter days, peaceful countryside walks, cosy cottages, the indoor pool and plenty of space to slow down and enjoy a few days away.

We have lots of availability throughout September, so if you’re in need of a little post-school-holiday escape, this could be the perfect time.

Birthday celebrations done properly! 🎊

"Me and my extended family hired 4 cottages at Church Farm for my Auntie’s 70th Birthday celebrations. We had a fantastic weekend, the cottages are beautiful, the use of the pool went down so well with the kids, plus the hire and use of the walnut room for a group dinner and table tennis/table football fun. Topped off with a great Farm Olympics Experience from Harriet.

Thank you for making our stay so memorable."
