🎉 WE’RE BACK OPEN! 🎉

And if I do say so myself… our brand new bar looks absolutely fabulous! 😍🍻

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience while we closed for the refurb. We can’t wait to welcome you all back in and show you what we’ve been up to!

Now that we’re back open, things will be returning to the plan that was always intended. Your landlord will be heading back to his full-time job, and your landlady will be spending much more time in the kitchen! 👩‍🍳❤️

With that in mind, we’d love to hear from you…

🍽️ What would you like to see on our specials board?
🍔 Is there a dish you’ve had elsewhere that you’d love us to do?
🥧 Or is there something already on our menu that you’d tweak or improve?

We’ve already had a few comments asking for more vegetables with our pies, and that’s something we’ll be exploring and trialling over the next week or two to see how it works in practice and to make sure we’re not creating unnecessary food waste.

Your feedback genuinely helps us shape the menu, so whether it’s a new dish, a small adjustment, or a completely different idea, we’d love to hear it.

Well… that’s us officially off for a few days as we tied the knot this weekend! 🤍💍

A huge thank you to all of our customers for your patience whilst we’ve been away celebrating.

As you can see, even on my wedding day I somehow ended up behind a bar… 🍺😂

You can take the landlady out of the pub, but you can’t take the pub out of the landlady!

We’ll be back open as normal on Friday 12th and look forward to seeing you all then.

Our last tables for food are at 7pm today, and these are already fully booked.

As we’re closing for 12 days after tonight, stock may be more limited than usual. We pride ourselves on keeping everything fresh, so we haven’t ordered large quantities in ahead of the closure.

If you are planning on dining with us this evening, please give us a call in advance so we can advise on availability and menu options.

🍔 Dinner service will run from 5pm–8pm, with the last table sitting at 7:15pm to ensure all food orders are in by 7.30pm.

After a very busy weekend, we do highly recommend booking in advance where possible, as stock levels are more limited than usual and we may not be able to accommodate all walk-ins this evening.

☀️🍺 Proper beer garden weather today! 🍺☀️

If ever there was a day for a cold pint in the sunshine… this is it 😍

🍔 Our kitchen is open today from 12pm–5pm, however please do bear with us throughout the day.

While everyone is enjoying the lovely 30° sunshine outside, it’s easily double that temperature stood over the grills and fryers in the kitchen 🥵🔥

To make sure both myself and Luke can grab the occasional quick break and cool down in the coldest part of the building, the beer cellar, food service may occasionally run in intervals during busy periods. It’s moments like this we really wish we had space for a walkin freezer ❄️😂

We really appreciate your patience and understanding — and as always, we’ll do our very best to keep everyone fed, watered, and enjoying the sunshine 🍻☀️
