🌿 Welcome to Fell Tweed & Co.🌿

Hi everyone, I’m Sammy, and I thought it was time to introduce myself and tell you a little about the person behind the page. 🥰

I’ve been sewing for around 10 years, and crafting has always been a huge part of my life. I work part-time and have a small family, so most of my creating happens in those precious spare moments when I can escape to my sewing machine or pick up my crochet hook. 🧵🧶

For a while now, I’ve shared my makes through my other page, The Crafty Cow Room, where I create things such as memory bears, keepsake pillows and crochet items — pieces made with lots of love and, often, lots of memories attached. ❤️

But recently, something new happened…

I took a course with Hole House to learn how to make tote bags, and I completely fell in love with bag making! (The patterns I use are created by Hole House so take a look at the page - I have tweaked them in) 👜✨

There’s something about choosing the fabrics, putting all the pieces together and watching a bag come to life that I absolutely adore. So, after lots of thought (and probably a little too much excitement! 😂), I decided it was time to start a new little adventure…

This page is going to be all about my journey into handmade bags & accessories. I’m excited to experiment with tweed fabric I find around the UK, try new designs and hopefully create things that you’ll love as much as I love making them.

Good morning everyone. What a lovely day it is here at Lily Rose Cottage ☀️. We’re busy getting ready for our next guests to arrive later today . We’ve had a very busy year so far and we’re looking forward to seeing all the people who have booked to stay in the coming months. What a lovely review we’ve had today from a really lovely family . What more can I say about our cottage 🤗

We stayed here for 6 nights with our autistic 10 year old daughter. The cottage is beautiful and the family who own the property couldn't be nicer. There is soooo much space, both inside and outside and the hot tub is just the cherry on top. Anne left us some home made lemon cakes too, which was such a thoughtful touch. We've stayed in a lot of self catering cottages and accommodation in the UK, maybe three times a year we book a property and this is one of the best ones we've stayed at. We loved it so much we looked at coming straight back in a couple of weeks with my mother in law for a few nights, but it was sadly booked. We did a lot of walking, climbing and we managed a booking at a very close private swimming pool, that Anne gave us the details for which was just perfect for our daughter. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Thank you to everyone who will be visiting Lily Rose Cottage this summer . We are now fully booked until the middle of September with the exception of a
SPECIAL OFFER £299 2 night stay for 2 people this week. The break is from 21st to the 23rd of July this is for 2 people in the king bed en-suite room with private use of the hot tub a welcome cream tea and an English breakfast package for 2 for you to prepare at your leisure.
