There’s something rather lovely about the quiet at the end of the evening, a final glance at the old staircase, the glow of the hall, and then upstairs to beautifully comfortable rooms.

Classic English country house character, with just the right amount of luxury.

A Roux Scholar and Great British Menu finalist, Hrishikesh has spent his career working in Michelin-starred kitchens and now leads the team at Farlam Hall. His cooking brings together classic British flavours, Cumbrian produce and influences gathered throughout his career.

Since joining Farlam Hall, Hrishikesh and the team at The Cedar Tree have been awarded a Michelin star and three AA Rosettes.
