After a day exploring the Lakes, this is exactly where we’d want to end up.
Hot tub on, robes ready and the evening entirely your own.
Sometimes the best part of going out is coming back.

48 hours in the Lakes — how we’d spend it.
Arrive, settle in and wander down to The Wild Duck for dinner. Wake up slowly, then head out to Buttermere, followed by a long lunch at Kirkstile Inn.
Back to your own little hideaway for the evening — BBQ hut, hot tub and nowhere else you need to be.
And on day three? We wouldn’t head straight home. Brunch in Keswick and a stroll by Derwentwater first.
Two nights. Plenty of the Lakes, without trying to squeeze everything in.
Save this one for your next Lake District escape.
