Well those 3 days went quick!! A little trip to Cornwall for us but now back to it!! And for those that are interested we bought back some more of the Cornish spiced rum!

Firstly, thank you all for your support last weekend, another brilliant bank holiday and the last one for this year.
We raised a substantial amount of money on Sunday, £470 ish so a big thank you to all of our stallholders for giving up their time to host a stall.
The weather wasn’t on our side but it didn’t stop us having a great time.
The Wolves raffle was won by ticket 309 which so far is unclaimed, so please check your tickets. If it’s not claimed we will redraw on Saturday night. That’s the orange ( some would say old gold) bordered ticket with black numbers. Naturally.

Looking ahead don’t forget we’ve got Sammy Jo this Saturday night and the following week we’ve got our show night with “Our Trace” and “David Laine” please get your tickets from me as soon as you can.

The kids party is Saturday 19th Sept with disco daddy,it’s Halloween themed this year too.
It is being held jointly with the kids fishing competition which had to be cancelled due to rain, so again there’s a list for kids wanting to fish too. That will be in the morning and party in the afternoon.
Please put your child’s name on the list so we have numbers for catering and goody bags.

I will be hosting a Macmillan coffee morning, this will be Saturday 26th September, donations of cakes much appreciated.
So we’ve got a few busy weekends ahead of us let’s make it a September to remember !

Happy wet Saturday!!!
It don’t rain inside the club though??
Open all day today
Tonight we’ve got one of our favourite artists “Steve Deval”
Plus Bingo and it’s also Tropical night so get those sh*te shirts out and flowery frocks, not forgetting the pineapples seen some upside down ones already 🤣
Tonorrow is our annual fete and carnival,
Club open 1pm, anyone who’s a vip please come and if it’s dry we can still try to parade around the bowling green road.
While the weathers decided to do one, rain won’t stop our play
Come along for what’s going to be a real fun filled day. We have lots of stalls and things going on and we will decamp to inside the club.
Bingo,Open the box and pick a pouch will all go in as normal albeit slightly different times.We will also have our promise auction and the final results of all our raffles of the day around 4ish.
Matty Jay will be along to entertain from 5pm.
Do join us, for another great bank holiday Sunday. Just a shame we cant be outside like we were end of May but hey ho that’s the great British weather ain’t it?

What an absolutely amazing day/night we all had yesterday!
From an early start for the annual Ladies Fishing ( first time participant here and the proud owner of a trophy 😂)
a lovely tea prepared by Avril and Mavis then the brilliant Chester Riggon last night!
It dont come much better than this!
