We re-opened this beautiful classic village pub in November 2014, after a closure of nearly 8 years. Owned and restored by the community and operated by a management team that shares our values and vision for a pub that is the hub of our community and a hidden gem of traditional hospitality. Superb Shropshire food, real ales from Shropshire and beyond, great wines to try by the glass, wonderful freshly ground coffee and free WiFi. Our refurbishment has also included the Oak Room, a restaurant conservatory which also acts as our village community room and function space for meetings and parties.

Sundays at the Pheasant 😍
We’re pretty busy most Sundays, but will always do our best to fit you in if we can

Today we’ve got Shropshire Beef, Bridgnorth Lamb, and Shropshire pork alongside and Scottish salmon dish and a sweet potato, feta and charred red pepper pithivier for Vegetarians.

We also have the kids menu available everyday.

We’re still open!

Today we’ve had the road closed outside the pub heading to Ludlow with no prior notice.
This could be closed for a few days 😬

If you’re coming to us from Bridgnorth just keep driving and ignore the road closed signs, you’ll get as far as the pub which is all you need 😁 🍺

If you’re heading from Ludlow follow the below.
B4364 to crossroads before the village shop in neenton TURN RIGHT (Stotteston)
After 1. 1/2 miles you’ll see a White finger post, TURN LEFT sign posted Winterburn Oldfield.
Go down the hill and as it rises take the first LEFT narrow lane and that road arrives at the back of the pheasant.
