🎃 Happy Halloween from The Old Vicarage! 👻

Did you know that The Old Vicarage is a 15th-century Grade II listed building in the heart of Bridgwater? With so much history within these walls, it's perhaps no surprise that we have a few ghost stories to tell… 👀

Rumour has it that The Old Vicarage might just be haunted! 👻

Over the years, some of our guests have shared stories of rather unusual experiences.

One guest, Hugh, recalled:

Whilst walking down the stairs in the main building I was tapped firmly on the shoulder."

Another visitor described seeing an elderly woman with grey hair tied in a bun, dressed in black, in our bar. They also reported visions of coachmen and red-coated soldiers, believed to be connected to the Battle of Sedgemoor.

Of course, we'll leave it up to you to decide whether there's anything spooky going on here! 😉

With centuries of history, plenty of character and perhaps a few unexpected visitors from the past, The Old Vicarage certainly has some stories to tell.
