Cosy stays for the cosiest of seasons. 🍂

Soft sheets, warm lighting and a little seaside escapism. Autumn looks rather lovely from here.

What is it about Brighton that dogs love so much?

The long walks along the seafront? The endless new smells? A wander through The Lanes? The sheer number of cafés willing to make a fuss of them?

Or perhaps it’s knowing there’s a rather comfortable bedroom waiting back at Drakes.

Brighton really is a very good city to be a dog. 🐾

24 hours in Brighton, Christmas edition. ✨

Check in at 2pm, drop the bags and head straight out. A wander through The Lanes, a little Christmas shopping, perhaps an Artists Open House or two, then back towards the seafront in time to catch Brighton’s starlings swirling above the pier at dusk.

From there? Cocktails at Clementine & Co, dinner at Burnt Orange and back to Drakes for the sort of bed you’ll be very pleased to see.

The next morning starts rather differently: sea air, a Beach Box sauna, breakfast back at the hotel and one last Brighton wander before check-out.

And because you’re staying on our A Very Curious Christmas rate, there’ll be a little Green & Spring gift waiting for you when it’s time to head home.

24 hours. Quite a lot of Brighton.

Book direct now, for a special rate this November and December.

We’ve always said Drakes comes with a view. This autumn, we’re selling sunsets too. 🌅

The sort that turn the sky pink, stop you mid-conversation and make that Pickle Martini feel like a very good plan 🍸

Brighton Pier glowing in the distance, the sea stretching out ahead, curtains open and nowhere else you particularly need to be.

Autumn on the seafront really does have its moments.

Come for Brighton. Stay for golden hour.

Well what a gorgeous weekend that was ☀️ it feels like this years sunshine is never ending, and we are not complaining even slightly.

Autumn suits Brighton.

The early sea mist, quieter streets, coffee somewhere tucked away in the Lanes, and that slightly wild walk back along the front when the wind picks up.

Come down for a night or two and see the city at its softer, slower best. Book direct with Drakes for our best available rates.

Back to the office after the summer holidays… or are we? 🌊

If “working from home” involves a laptop, a decent coffee and a sea view from your bedroom at Drakes, we’re not here to question it.

Swap the commute for the Brighton seafront, answer the emails, take the calls and enjoy a slightly better view than the kitchen table.

September productivity, with perks. ☕️🌊
