We're holding our first 'Poppy Workshop' tomorrow (20/07/2018) from 7pm - 9.30pm at the Royal British Legion HQ on Charlton Road.

We're asking for volunteers to come along and help us attach our knitted poppies to the netting we will be using to display them in November at Church of St John the Baptist, Keynsham. Anyone who wants to help will be very welcome and it doesn't matter if you've knitted any poppies.

There will be tea, chatting and there is also a strong chance of biscuits. Come along!

We are Hiring!
A position has come up in our 16 bed Guest House for an Assistant Manager. The successful applicant will receive training in many different aspects of the Guest House and we are looking for an adaptable capable person who is able to switch roles easily. Full working flexibility is required as the person appointed will be working to a rotating shift pattern. Their duties would include working on reception; housekeeping; waitressing; bar work. Computer literacy is essential. Good customer skills are vitally important with the ability to be as polite and as helpful as possible when dealing with guests. There will also be an element of responsibility that comes with working in a small business. The position may not follow a set pattern. The hourly rate will be £8.
Previous experience preferable, but full training will be given.
