🇫🇷✨ French-themed lunch fun! ✨🇫🇷

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful French-inspired lunch two days ago to celebrate and get into the spirit of the France World Cup game. Everyone had a fantastic time enjoying delicious food, great company, and embracing the French theme together. 🥐🍽️

And of course, we couldn’t forget a few sips of a lovely French beer to complete the experience! 🍺🇫🇷

A big thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable occasion. It was magnifique! ❤️💙🤍

🌸✨ Our residents have been getting their creative hats on and the results are nothing short of blooming brilliant! ✨🌸
This week we got crafty and created our very own artificial flower wreaths — and wow, what absolute showstoppers they are! 🎨🌺
With plenty of colour, creativity, and a little bit of crafty magic, each wreath has its own unique personality (just like the wonderful people who made them!). From beautiful blooms to fabulous finishing touches, we’ve definitely got some budding designers amongst us! 👏
We think these wreaths deserve a spot on the front door… although we can’t promise the flowers won’t steal all the attention! 😉🌼
A huge well done to everyone involved — your creativity continues to brighten our days (and our home!). 💐❤️
And keep your eyes peeled… these beautiful handmade creations will be available to purchase at our Summer Fête! ☀️🌸 So if you’re looking for a unique piece to brighten up your home, make sure you come along — we have a feeling these beauties won’t be around for long! 🌺

What a wonderful afternoon we’ve had at our garden party! 🌸☀️

It was lovely to see our residents, staff, family members, and members of our local community come together to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of laughter, smiles, and great company.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our painted rock hunt around the local community and brought their rocks back in to collect a little prize — we loved seeing all the creativity and excitement it brought!

We hope you all enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did. It was a pleasure to welcome you all, and we can’t wait to see you again soon for more lovely moments together. 💐

Last week Stacey, Sam and a few of our residents enjoyed a lovely outing to the Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock. 🏛️✨

We had a fantastic time exploring the museum, taking a good look around at the fascinating displays and learning more about the history, culture and everyday life of the past. Museums are wonderful places that show us how much things have changed over time — from the way people lived and worked, to the objects we used every day and the incredible stories behind them. It was lovely to see residents sharing memories and connecting with items from different eras.

There were plenty of smiles, interesting conversations and a few laughs along the way. One resident joked that “you know you’re getting old when the things in the museum are things you used to use!” — which definitely gave everyone a giggle! 😄

It was a brilliant day out filled with curiosity, nostalgia and plenty of happy moments. Our residents really enjoyed taking in the exhibits, reminiscing and spending quality time together. A big thank you to everyone who made the trip so enjoyable! 💙

Friends, family and members of our local community are warmly invited to join us tomorrow from 3:30pm to 5:00pm for a fun and relaxing Garden Party.

There will be food, drinks, and games for everyone to enjoy, and it's a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our residents, meet new people, and have a look around our lovely home.

We would love to see you there and share an enjoyable afternoon together!

If you have found one of our rocks, bring them along to get your prize!

⚽🏴🇬🇧 World Cup Fever Has Arrived! 🇬🇧🏴⚽

Our residents have been getting England World Cup ready here at the home, bringing plenty of team spirit, excitement and celebration ahead of tonight’s big match! 🎉

We enjoyed a wonderful English-themed afternoon tea, complete with delicious treats, traditional touches, and lots of fantastic England-inspired decorations to get everyone in the match-day mood. ☕🍰🏴

The home has been transformed with flags, colours and plenty of football fun — creating a brilliant atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. ❤️⚽

A huge good luck to England this evening at 9pm — we’ll be cheering you on! 🦁🦁🦁

Our residents at Brize Meadow Lodge Care Home have been busy painting and hiding colourful rocks around the local area for you to find.

If you're lucky enough to spot one, please bring it along to our Garden Party on Friday 19th June at 3:30pm and you'll receive a prize! 🎉

It's a wonderful way to connect with our community and share a little joy. We can't wait to see how many rocks are discovered!

What an incredible milestone to celebrate! ❤️

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating one of our wonderful resident couples on their 70th wedding anniversary.

Seventy years of love, commitment, and cherished memories is a truly remarkable achievement.

We would like to congratulate them on their Platinum Anniversary and wish them many more happy moments together. 💐🥂
