Grazing rights for horses and cattle on the 600 acre Minchinhampton common, go back to 16th century. The medieval system allows locals to grow food, graze animals and gather fuel from the common. These ‘rights of common’ are written in to the deeds of locals’ houses. It is a wonderful sight, but can cause traffic jams as the animals have right of way!

Great night at Abbots Grange watching the lord chamberlains men bring Othello to life (and death) A wonderful location in the grounds of Abbots Grange with, sun, rain and rainbows. The Lord Chamberlains Men played on despite the weather, we could hear every word, brilliant performance as always.

How lovely to have be bought some ‘tea teddies’ all the way from Singapore. A new experience for us flavoured gummy bears that you can eat straight out of the tub, or put in a mug of hot water for a cup of flavoured tea. 😊. We do have some lovely guests.
