Broughshane 5 entry is selling fast!

Broughshane is back on 17 August, and Ballymena Runners is looking forward to another great summer evening of racing, community and village atmosphere.

Starting from Broughshane Community Centre at 7pm, the race takes in five miles of local landmarks, scenic views and the warm support that makes this event such a favourite on the local running calendar.

This year’s event will once again bring the usual mix of competitive racing and welcoming atmosphere, whether you’re chasing a PB or simply enjoying a summer evening run through one of County Antrim’s best-known villages. A few surprises are planned too — from entertainment on the night to a great-looking race top.

Ballymena Runners thank their leaders!

A great evening last night in the Thatch as our Ballymena Runners leaders (LiRFs) and coaches came together for their annual dinner.

The dedication and commitment shown by this group throughout the year is incredible. Their support, encouragement and coaching provides opportunities for all of our club members to train, improve and enjoy their running — no matter their ability or goals.

A huge thank you to all of our coaches and LiRFs for the time and effort you give to the club week in, week out. Your contribution is hugely appreciated by everyone at Ballymena Runners.

We would also like to thank The Thatch Inn for their continued support of Ballymena Runners and for looking after us so well once again.
