In the game of running holiday cottages, it’s not often in high season that we get the opportunity for a weekend off. Especially when you do everything yourself. But last weekend, we were very fortunate to take a trip to for a wedding. Without our three children! The first time in 8 years.

And do you know what we discovered…?

It was amazing to get away.
It was heartwarming to see my brother get married!
It was incredible to experience places we’d never been.
It was awesome to meet lots of people we’d not normally meet.
And it was refreshing to escape the normalities of our daily existence.

But…
There’s no place like home!

What a stunning Sunday it’s been here at
It’s so lovely having the park at the end of the road which is currently carpeted in buttercups and daisy’s.

Lovely little trip down to for a kick about with the kids.

Tywyn beach is only a 5 minute drive from us here at , where you’ll find with crazy golf and other games, , , the Buccaneer arcade and a burger bar and two ice cream parlours. As well as everything else you need on the high street - shops, cafes, pubs, , indoor pool, beauticians and more.

So come and stay with us in one of our two holiday cottages in the quaint and quiet village of with our local pub, The Peniarth Arms within walking distance.
