We have got a few weeks or just weekends still available for October 🎃the cottages are heated , so cosy and warm after a walk in the beautiful photographic woodland areas so close to us, or a stroll on the beaches Westward Ho Beach or Bude Beach, Cornwall both just 20 - 25 mins from the cottages.

Plenty of venues preparing for Halloween so most are decorated well before, gets you into the 👻spirit of the season.

If bringing little ones Milky Way and The BIG Sheep Family Attraction are a great place to visit, still open for entertainment, rides and places to have a light meal 🍟🍗☕

Places to visit a little further away are Tintagel Castle and Merlins Cave and the wonderful unspoilt areas with stunning waterfalls St Nectan's Glen

The start of a warm weekend 2 cottages booked out today and the other 2 tomorrow and Sunday, Welcome packs are back to full as the Hens are laying again. So fresh eggs (some double yolks) , milk from the dairy, cream, jam and fresh scones ready for when guests arrive.

Restaurants are still busy so make sure if you want a meal out in the daytime or evening you book in advance.

No rest for us on a Bank Holiday, one family having to postpone, then a last minute booking comes in and they want the bedrooms made up different to what we had prepared.☺️oh well extra income 🤑every cloud 😍

🌞Summer is not over here in Devon till end of October we still get some really warm days , the evenings cool down slightly, but the cottages are cosy !
🏠We are mostly booked out in all our cottages for September, there is a short break available at the end of the month .
🎃October we are booked in some of the cottages and we have a week here and there available.

Another busy weekend ahead again all 4 cottages being vacated and prepped for new guests, the shepherds hut is also booked, all with the same band travelling down to do a gig in Torrington

We have had a really busy month again, all cottages and glamping booked out, guests enjoying the lovely weather, going Visit Devon Clovelly , Saunton and just outside at Bude, all 20 mins or so drive away from the peaceful location we are in.

Some of the guests go out and explore others just take the time out, enjoy the peace this tranquil location gives them and just stay around the cottages.

Reading Books, getting creative with arts and photography.

September is also very busy, but we have a few short stays available .
