Atlantic Camping is a friendly and family-run farm campsite in Bude, on the north Cornish coast. Set within 26 acres of farmland, our site makes for a peaceful and relaxing stay, just a mile from the beautiful surfing beaches of Bude. We are currently a small to medium site and are in transition to become a larger site in 2014. The entrance to the farm is set directly on the Atlantic Highway (the
A39, the main road past Bude), making it easily accessible to all vehicle types, yet the site itself is set far back from the road on the other side of the farm, resulting in no noise from the road. The campsite has planted-out grass pitches with electric hookup and grass pitches without, set within 2.5 acres of lush well-mowed grass, with a children's climbing frame and ball game area. The toilet and shower block has six showers and seven toilets (including a disabled toilet and one with baby-changing facilities), and a washing-up area with four washing-up sinks. The field adjacent to the site is home to many farm animals, including chickens, turkeys, geese, sheep, three alpacas and a donkey. These are a big hit with the kids and feed for the animals is available from a member of staff. Onsite, there is a shell-craft studio where children and adults can decorate various items such as picture frames, mirrors, terracotta plant pots etc, or create shell ornaments. This has proved popular with local schools as an alternative to arts and crafts lessons. Bude town centre is only a 20-minute stroll away, with various pubs, restaurants and attractions to hand. We look forward to welcoming you and will go out of our way to ensure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible!
