Whilst Park Gate Lodge will have everything you need to cook and relax, sometimes part of the fun is heading out for something to eat 🌿

Just a couple of minutes stroll down the hill, you’ll find a local favourite, The Hapton Inn. A cosy pub, perfect for a relaxed drink or a bite to eat at breakfast or after a day exploring. *Menu available on their page.

Just a few minutes drive from your accommodation, you’ll also find the Agra Indian Restaurant. Another local favourite and the perfect spot for a great Indian meal during your stay. *Menu available on their page.

Whether it’s a countryside walk followed by a pub stop, or a night off from cooking, you’ll find everything you need on your doorstep.

There’s also plenty of fantastic food and drink spots within a 5 mile radius in Burnley and Accrington. A hand crafted list of these will be left in your accommodation to explore whilst you’re here.

Step out of your accommodation and straight onto beautiful countryside walks. From gentle strolls to longer hikes, there’s something for everyone:

🌳 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥
A 4km easy walk perfect for a relaxed wander (around 1.5 hours)
🌳 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 - Scenic circular routes up to 10km for those wanting more of a challenge (around 3.5 hours)

Park Gate Lodge 🌿

We’re currently renovating our recently acquired countryside caravan to create a relaxing getaway in the heart of Lancashire with stunning views and space for up to 6 guests.

At present, it’s a huge mess. BUT… we are up for the challenge, and every great transformation begins with a vision 💪🏼✨

The skips have arrived. The carpets have been ripped out and over the next few weeks (yes, we are ambitious!) we’ll be completely gutting and renovating this space to deliver a modern countryside retreat ready for you to book for Spring/Summer.
