A rare wildlife sighting near Morfa Lodge 🐦

Hundreds of birdwatchers have flocked to North Wales to catch a glimpse of a Western Reef Heron, after the species was recorded in the UK for the very first time.

Normally found along the coastlines of Africa and the Indian Ocean, this remarkable bird has caused quite a stir among the birdwatching community after appearing near Dinas Dinlle, a short distance from Morfa Lodge.

It's incredible to think that such a rare visitor has chosen our beautiful stretch of coastline as its temporary home! 🌊
