We are building a dog and fire friendly Bell tent and shepherd hut campsite on a partially wooded old market garden in the Tamar valley in Cornwall.

Afternoon all, another shout out for erecting this yurt...I haven't managed it yet, I thought bartering a stay on site for getting her up was a good deal, But it hasn't worked yet...So if anyone with lots of experience could possibly come and get her up properly, I will pay you. I need her up and watertight ASAP.....many thanks for reading and listening. Please share so hopefully she's up asap...I need her up before Xmas. Many thanks and all the best xx

The summer hasn't been great, So I do need to find a new home for a few of my animals to reduce the bills..... First up is Reginald and he needs a new home with some ladies. He's big, Muscular, intact, he's a cross between Toggenburg and Boer, He gave me 2 sets of twins and 1 single between 3 ladies earlier this year. Also very important to add that I cannot really keep him longterm as I now have 2 of his daughters here and I don't want in**st. He's about 20 months I think. He isn't nasty in anyway. Please message if you are interested....Good home only, not for eating. Message me for details, Not free.

Our next deer processing course is on Saturday the 21st of November, It's £180 per person and you will take a whole deer away with you - it's a Roe deer, so don't panic too much, It won't need a giant freezer, but it will be a lovely amount of meat. Very sustainable, Locally sourced, organic. Please message me to book on x

I took this picture 5 years ago, it's just popped up as a memory. It's of the Calstock viaduct by the lovely village of Calstock, A beautiful 50 minute walk from the campsite. Has 2 pubs, A social club, a lovely cafe called Lishe and an ice cream parlour. Absolutely worth a visit.

I posted about the storm, Using this picture, On my stories and my personal FB....Some one said I was a barn door with a tiny head...twat 😂😂😂😂

Regarding the storm, It wasn't the fiercest by any stretch, but trees fell in the valley(not my trees), the parachute is torn, a lot of leaves are down...Just realised a couple of eucalyptus need to be felled...but no other damage other than that as far as I can see. I'll try and sort the parachute before the Christmas day meal. I hope everyone is safe and didn't sustain too many issues? Brace yourselves for tonights storm, regardless of how strong it is, Trees will have been weakened and may come down...quite strong winds forecast for the next few days too ###

The run of working 7 days a week doesnt seem to be slowing. But inbetween saying goodbye to guests, Feeding the animals and being picked up for today's offsite work, I spotted this beauty on site...Phallus impudicus - common stinkhorn...complete with flies attending 😊

Yesterday's sunrise was special...forward picture and reverse picture taken in the same spot, Seconds apart...the morning Sun's warmth on my face was glorious. Hope everyone has had a good week and hope you all have a great weekend xx

I'm working offsite a lot currently, one of the jobs is at Beden, A wonderful organic farm on Dartmoor, Heavy on conservation and they also have an outdoor nature based preschool called "Tiny Wilds", They also very kindly donated to last years Xmas meal. Today I was splitting logs with my splitter, Started off mizzle but the sun shone through...I split about one IBC cage of logs every 45 minutes, I have been quite poor at getting back to people, I do apologise, It's been extremely hectic, But I am taking bookings for log splitting @ £25 an hour, which includes me and my chainsaws. Minimum of 8 hours please. Many thanks, James.

Well...I haven't posted about the bees for a wee while...I think the last big thing was the Eucalyptus tree falling on my hives at 6am on Xmas morning whilst I was trying to cook the meal. It's been a funny year, I've struggled to check, Whilst working 7 days a week, guests and poor weather have all combined to make it quite difficult. So I took advantage of a couple of hours free today to check....they...are...fiesty and they stung me loads😬 But the video will explain all :) xx

Most of my Memories that pop up on Facebook are of Roxy and Hilde, Two girls who my ex wife and I shared...They always bring a smile and a tear because I miss them dreadfully....especially moments like this as Hilde had no idea whatsoever of personal space or privacy 😂😂😂❤️ xx
