A very special birthday for the Carradale Hotel family today! 🥳🎈

Our Abbie turns 18! 🥂❤️

We’re taking a little time away to celebrate this milestone together, but we couldn’t let the day pass without wishing her a very happy 18th birthday!

After years of working in the hotel, she’s finally old enough to get behind the bar and pull a pint. We’re not sure who’s more excited, her or us! 😂

🍂 A Little Autumn Break 🍂

As another busy summer season draws to a close, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited and supported us again this year. It’s been lovely welcoming so many familiar faces and new ones through our doors, and we really do appreciate your continued support!

We’re taking a little family time over the next few weeks to celebrate a very special occasion. 🥳🥂

During this time, our opening dates will be:

🍁 Saturday 24th October

🍁 Sunday 25th October

🍁 Thursday 29th October

🍁 Friday 30th October

We’ll then return to our usual opening hours from Sunday 8th of November.

🍽️ And something new for the winter months!

We’ve been busy putting together our brand new autumn/winter menu, with some delicious new dishes alongside a few familiar favourites. Which we’ll share with you in the coming weeks.

Thank you again for all your support throughout the summer. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

📚 A little something for Friday evening!

We’re delighted to welcome back local author and former police officer Simon McLean joining us at the Carradale Hotel this Friday, 16th October, from around 6pm.

Simon will be sharing a little about his book Kintyre: The Past Doesn’t Forget, with an informal reading and a chance for a blether.

No tickets, no charge, just a relaxed evening in the bar.

Everyone welcome! 😊

🚔📚 Crime is coming to the pub.
(Only the fictional kind.)

We’re welcoming author Simon McLean to Carradale Hotel for an evening of crime, stories and books – kicking off around 6pm.

Former detective. Nearly 30 years dealing with serious crime. Now writing crime fiction with a distinctly Kintyre flavour.

Come along for a drink, hear about the book… and if you’ve ever dramatically said “I could write a book about this place” after your third pint, this one’s for you.
