Springslade Lodge is ideally placed for all sorts of exciting and different outdoor family party activities. Springslade Lodge is ideally placed for walkers and ramblers enjoying the Cannock Chase heathland, horse riders using the many bridleways, mountain bike riders, road cyclists and the camping and caravan enthusiasts who can make use of the hideaway camping site behind the Lodge. It is also ideally placed for visitors to the Commonwealth War Graves and the Katyn Memorial (approx 400m from the Tea Room).

This morning I took part in my first Laughter Yoga class with the lovely Georgie Wood.

10 ladies and Jack joined her for an hour of fun, frolics and laughter – and I really do mean laughter! I haven’t laughed so much in a very long time. My tummy hurt from laughing, and it was wonderful to be surrounded by such like-minded people.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. Let’s do another one very soon!

The woodland setting was perfect, and we all enjoyed delicious homemade scones, a lovely cuppa, and plenty of chat afterwards. The energy, friendship and sense of connection created during the morning were absolutely wonderful.

As an added bonus, together we raised £90 for Staffordshire Search and Rescue, which made the day even more special.

What a fantastic way to start the day!
