There are comfortable traditional indoor facilities and a private garden with benches and

tables where you can enjoy the quality meals, snacks and drinks prepared by Kaye and her staff. Springslade Lodge is ideally placed for all sorts of exciting and different outdoor family party activities. Springslade Lodge is ideally placed for walkers and ramblers enjoying the Cannock Chase heathland, horse riders using the many bridleways, mountain bike riders, road cyclists and the camping and caravan enthusiasts who can make use of the hideaway camping site behind the Lodge. It is also ideally placed for visitors to the Commonwealth War Graves and the Katyn Memorial (approx 400m from the Tea Room).

💙 Supporting Staffordshire Search & Rescue 💙

We’re really proud to support Staffordshire Search & Rescue, a fantastic charity that does such important work in our local community.

Thanks to the generosity of our customers and community, we’ve recently been able to donate £210 to the charity! 🎉

This has been raised through donations at the café, our Springslade Walking Group, and events including our Laughing Yoga sessions and other activities we’ve hosted.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference — and we’re so grateful to everyone who has helped us reach this total. 🙏

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, joined an event, enjoyed a walk with us or simply supported what we do. It’s wonderful to see our café community coming together to support such a worthwhile local cause. 💙

A Wonderful Afternoon at the Lodge 📖 ☕️

We had a fascinating talk at the Lodge on Monday afternoon with Andrew Baker, who shared insights into the research behind his book and the history of our local area, including Shugborough.

It was a lovely afternoon of local history, interesting stories and conversation, enjoyed with tea and delicious scones. ☕️🍰

Andrew’s books are also available to buy here at the Lodge, so do pop in if you’d like to discover more about the area.

Our next talk will be with Linda Barrett on Monday 19th October at 2pm, when she will be talking about Brindley Village and the years following the Great War.
