I’ve been meaning to get some fridge magnets for the side of our fridge that acts as a notice board. I’m delighted to have been able to indicate my personal politics at the same time.
So we begin with the suffrage movement, plus a special one for Mrs Pankhurst because it says Manchester on it (my home town).
Then we have an Albert Camus reminder, (as if we need it after the awful events we have witnessed in Glasgow this week), of the dangers of the rise of facism.
Finally, a well loved John Donne quotation about our need for connection.
