🍂 **A LITTLE NOVEMBER AVAILABILITY AT STRATHSPEY LODGE!**

We're now almost fully booked through to January 2027, but we do have a six-night stay available from **Saturday 7th November**, with **20% off** for a very late booking.

November is a wonderful time to visit the . The autumn colours are still putting on a show, the air is getting decidedly chilly and there's plenty of walking and exploring to be done before heading back to the warmth of the lodge.

This lovely autumn view of Strathspey Lodge gives you a good idea of the setting, with open countryside, woodland and the hills beyond.

Our spacious open-plan living area, pictured here from the kitchen, is particularly lovely at Christmas, with huge windows looking out across the fields towards the Northern Cairngorms.

Winter is a wonderful time to visit the Highlands. Cold, crisp mornings, beautiful scenery, the freshest of fresh air and plenty of opportunities to get out and explore.

From the hallway into the heart of the lodge.

Our open-plan living space is generous, warm and welcoming, with huge windows looking out across the fields and the There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out, while still being together.

And as the days get cooler, there’s nothing quite like coming back from a day outside, lighting the fire and settling in for the evening.

The big open-plan living room is made for this time of year. Plenty of space to spread out, views across the fields towards the and the fire on when the temperature starts to drop.

A good spot for a glass of w**e, something to eat and a long evening with family or friends after a day out exploring.

A quiet corner in the master suite.

There’s plenty of space in here beyond the bed, including this sofa overlooking the back garden. A good spot for a morning coffee, an afternoon with a book or putting your feet up in front of the TV after a day out in the Cairngorms.

And our resident Highland cow keeps an eye on proceedings.

This is one of our favourite spaces at Strathspey Lodge.

The kitchen, dining and sitting areas are all open plan, so whether you’re cooking, pouring a drink, playing games or just flopping on the sofa after a day out, everyone can still be together.

There’s plenty of room for families and groups, and with the big windows and high ceilings it’s a lovely bright space during the day. Then, as evening comes around, light the fire and settle in for the night.

Autumn in the is hard to beat.

By September and October the landscape around .lodge starts to change, with the greens giving way to some spectacular autumn colour. It’s a brilliant time to be up here, cooler days for walking and exploring, quieter trails and plenty to come home to afterwards.

And on a day like this, the view from the lodge isn’t bad either.

The nights will soon start drawing in again, but thankfully the stars provide a bit of constellation consolation.

On a clear night in the Cairngorms, the skies can be quite something. With very little light pollution around the lodge, it’s well worth stepping outside after dinner, looking up and seeing what’s overhead.

And then back inside to the fire.
