Oh wow, winter has certainly arrived, back to wellies & waterproofs 💦 ☹️
Summer feels like a distant memory but here are a few of my favourite pics from this year 🥰

And just like that, it’s all gone ☹️ Belles are off to be cleaned, all the furniture is packed away & the field is bare.
Returned to the wildlife for the winter (although they never really left!)
It always feels really quiet when the guests have gone but only a few months until we open again 😀🏕️

Our season has ended but wow, what a season - our busiest ever!
So, just wanted to say a massive thanks to all our guests this year for choosing us for their stay in Cheddar, so many familiar faces (lots of hugging) and lots of lovely new ones!
Including over 150 gorgeous dogs who were all impeccably behaved apart from the one who slipped his lead and stole a packet of cheese straws from another Belle 🤣
Packing up is nearly complete so we have time to reflect on a few of this years events & highlights.

Old School sports days seemed to be the theme for lots of our groups which were hilarious 🏃

We had our first ‘rescue’ from the gorge when one lady decided to watch the sunset from the viewing point and then couldn’t find her way back in the dark (sunset seat is much easier 😆)

We also enjoyed lots of Cheddar Spirit co tastings which are always fun 🥴

We had our first ‘celebrity’ guest , and no names of course but you never know who you are going to meet at Owley Woods 😉

We had our first BBQ ban! Massive thanks for the understanding of all our guests and the Ninja oven was worth its weight in gold.

Thank you to everyone who supported/ recommended & reviewed our little Glampsite this year, missing you all already and looking forward to next year
