Whether you want a light bite or a hearty meal, choose from our great new menus, made from locally sourced produce whenever possible and designed to cater for a variety of tastes and appetites, all served by a friendly team. Our menus include starters, main courses, desserts, light bites for a smaller appetite, and a great coffee selection.

STAY
Our self-contained, purpose-built annexe houses six beautifully furnished and contemporary-styled bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities and brand-new king-sized beds, all with the flexibility to be reconfigured as twins to suit. Located discretely behind the Inn and designed to fit into the rural landscape, all our rooms have country views, some facing east over neighbouring farmland whilst others look out over our lovely garden. All rooms are now bookable on a bed and breakfast basis, with the option to book a table in the Inn for lunch or an evening meal. There's also two convenient EV Charge points available for patrons.

There's many new faces around here so allow us to reintroduce our pub! ⚓

We're The Ferry Boat Inn in North Fambridge, a historic pub with over 500 years of history set in a beautiful, homey village nestled into the banks of the River Crouch.

Nicki and the team run the place as part of Yacht Havens, yes, like the excellent Marina here in the village. Nicki's history with the FBI goes back a lifetime as her mother once ran the place with her best friend. We're a family-run pub who see this place as the heart of the community we call home.

Yacht Havens gave the FBI its gorgeous makeover during the Covid years and re-opened our beloved local in 2021. Now complete with an expansive bar set in the Barn and our award-nominated restaurant across the Old Pub, we're still surprised and a little charmed when people automatically go to the old doors. Whichever door you try at first, we're excited to welcome you when you make your way in!

We serve real, local ales, your favourite beers, cocktails to order and a variety of soft drinks 7 days a week! Breakfast is served each day from 8:30-10:30, coffee and cake all day, and the kitchen is open for food until 9PM, except for Sundays. Our Sunday Lunch is the busiest time of the week and we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment as our last seating is at 5:45 in the restaurant.

We have six en-suite bedrooms to offer, including accessible & dog-friendly rooms--just inquire! Our Dinner, Bed & Breakfast package cannot be beat in value and we have vouchers available to gift a peaceful night away.

Last year we were named by Rover.com as the most dog-friendly pub in the East of England and we take the title seriously. We love to greet each new fuzzy face and keep treats at reception for a variety of canine needs and tastes.

Our pub is perfect for your large events and we welcome any celebration including birthday, anniversaries, baby showers, wedding receptions, wakes and corporate evenings.

🌙 has a limited availability for personal, intuitive tarot card readings and can be pre-booked from 4:00PM-10:30PM. Readings are £25 and paid direct to Caroluna on the night, cash preferred, bank transfer available.

🤩 Our tapas menu is bespoke to these evenings and the menu will be available when you arrive, but look over the photos to see past examples of every mouth-watering small plate.

🍸 Craft cocktails themed to the evening will be served all evening at our bar! You can't order these any other night of the week--or anywhere else for that matter!
