The Boathouse Chester The Boathouse is the perfect place to sit back and relax with great food and drinks on the River Dee Brunch is served daily 1030am-12pm.

We serve a delicious menu of home-cooked, traditional pub food Monday - Saturday til 9pm and our Sunday lunch menu til 8pm. We also have a huge selections of wines; bottled and draught beers; JW Lees cask ales; ciders; popular spirits and your favourite soft drinks. There's something to suit everyone's tastes, so why not have a relaxing drink by the river? Or dine al fresco on our outdoor terrace and floating beer garden, and make the most of the good weather!

🍳 Meet the Team Monday – Brad! 👋

This week, it’s the turn of Brad, who’s been part of The Boathouse team for around a year and a half! 😂

Now, this picture is actually from last year because Brad refused to let us take a new one… so this is officially the first AND last photo we’ve ever managed to get of him! 📸 We thought we’d better make it count!

Brad is also our brekkie champion🏆🍳, and you’ll always find him serving up the best full English breakfasts to our hotel guests. Nothing gets past Brad when it comes to breakfast!

When he’s not busy smashing breakfast service, his go-to drink is a cold pint of Manchester Craft L***r 🍺, brewed right here in Manchester, and his favourite food is our famous Messy Chips 🍟.

And his fun fact? He can clap with one hand! 👏😂 We’re still not entirely sure how, but we reckon that deserves a round of applause… if he can manage one himself!

Next time you’re in, keep an eye out for Brad (he might dodge the camera, but he won’t dodge a pint!). 🍻

Sunsets just hit different by the River Dee 🌅

We might be biased, but we reckon we’ve got one of the best spots in Chester to watch the sun go down. Whether you’re joining us for a bite to eat, a drink by the river or just taking five to enjoy the view, it’s not a bad way to spend an evening. 🍻
